On Sunday 12 April, the Mayor of Haywards Heath attended a remarkable concert performed by the Ardingly Choral Society, held in the stunning surroundings of Ardingly College.

The spirit of community and determination was on full display in the early hours of Friday morning, as the Mayor of Haywards Heath attended the much-anticipated Swimathon hosted by Kangaroos.

On Friday, 27th March, the local community came together to celebrate a significant milestone with the grand opening of Woodlands Meed College. The special event marked the completion of the college’s new facilities and offered a warm invitation for the community to come and explore all that the site has to offer.

The spirit of spring was in full bloom on Saturday 28th March, as the Haywards Heath Horticultural Society hosted its much-anticipated Spring Show at the Centenary Hall.

Creativity was in full bloom as the New Friends of Scrase Valley Orchards invited local primary school children to take part in an exciting logo design competition.

On Wednesday 25 March, our Town Mayor paid a special visit to the Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, gaining a first-hand look at the incredible work the charity does to support animals and the local community.

On Friday 13th March, the Redwood Centre was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and community spirit as the Town Mayor, Cllr Duncan Pascoe, hosted 'The Big Quiz', organised by one of the local Girlguiding groups.

On Friday 6th March, the Town Mayor of Haywards Heath, Cllr Duncan Pascoe, attended the official opening ceremony of Barn Cottage, celebrating an important new space for the local scouting community and Bentswood Hub.

Haywards Heath took an exciting step towards a greener future on Saturday 28th February, as residents gathered for the town’s very first Eco Fair, held from 9.30am to 12.30pm. The event brought together local people, community groups and sustainability champions for a lively and inspiring morning focused on practical climate action and environmental awareness.

On the evening of Friday 20th February, Cuckfield Museum welcomed its valued patrons and distinguished guests to a special gathering held within the historic surroundings of Cuckfield’s Council Chamber and the Museum at the Queen’s Hall.

There was a real buzz on Friday 30 January as Raystede Animal Welfare officially opened the doors of its brand-new charity shop on South Road, Haywards Heath.

The Dame Vera Lynn Children’s Charity has reached a significant milestone, celebrating 25 years of supporting children with cerebral palsy and motor learning impairments across the South East.

On Sunday, 21 December, Cllr Duncan Pascoe, Town Mayor of Haywards Heath, attended a Christmas special Re-Engage Tea Party in Lindfield, supporting older people in the community who might otherwise feel isolated during the festive season.

On Saturday, 20 December, the Rotary Club brought festive cheer to the Orchards Shopping Centre, supporting Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice.

On Thursday, 18 December, guests enjoyed a magical evening at Warnham Park, celebrating the festive season while supporting the Alzheimer’s Society.

On Saturday 13th December, the Bentswood Hub hosted its much-loved annual Family Christmas Party, bringing together local families for an afternoon filled with festive cheer, laughter, and community spirit.

On Monday 15th December, St. Richard’s Church was filled with music, warmth, and festive cheer during the Alzheimer’s Society Christmas Concert, featuring the much-loved Spring Chickens Choir.

On Sunday 14th December, Ascension Church welcomed members of the community for a joyful and reflective Community Carol Service, marking a special moment in the lead-up to Christmas.

Thursday 11 December 2025 marked an exciting milestone for Pembroke Financial Services as they officially opened the doors to their brand-new office on Perrymount Road in Haywards Heath.

Hanbury Stadium was buzzing with pride and anticipation on Saturday 6th December 2025 as Haywards Heath Town FC welcomed Berks County for their long-awaited home fixture in the 3rd Round of the Isuzu FA Vase. With the team now among the final 64 clubs left in this prestigious national competition, the afternoon carried a real sense of occasion both on and off the pitch.
