Town Mayor Celebrates the Grand Opening of Pembroke Financial Service’s New Office
Thursday 11 December 2025 marked an exciting milestone for Pembroke Financial Services as they officially opened the doors to their brand-new office on Perrymount Road in Haywards Heath.

Hanbury Stadium was buzzing with pride and anticipation on Saturday 6th December 2025 as Haywards Heath Town FC welcomed Berks County for their long-awaited home fixture in the 3rd Round of the Isuzu FA Vase. With the team now among the final 64 clubs left in this prestigious national competition, the afternoon carried a real sense of occasion both on and off the pitch.


Mayor Supports Community Spirit at Bentswood Hub’s Pre-Loved Toy Event
The Bentswood community was full of warmth and generosity as the Mayor volunteered at the Bentswood Hub’s Pre-Loved Toy Event, held on the mornings of Sunday 7th December and Monday 8th December. The Hub opened its doors to families for a special “pay what you feel” initiative, offering quality pre-loved toys at accessible prices while raising vital funds to support its ongoing community projects.


Mayor visits Traunstein, our twinned town in Germany
Last weekend, the Mayor of Haywards Heath and members of the Haywards Heath Twinning Association travelled to our twin town Traunstein in Germany. They arrived to a beautiful wintery scene: fresh snow on the ground and a warm welcome from our Traunstein friends.
The visit was packed with memorable experiences that showcased the culture, history, and hospitality of the region.

Thursday 20 November 2025 was a memorable evening for the 10th Haywards Heath Guides, who took over the Haywards Heath Town Hall chamber from 7.30pm onwards for a special council session hosted by the Town Mayor.
