Highlights will include Magnolias, Cornus kousas and Paulownia tomentosa.

Highlights will include the Persian Silk tree, Catalpas and the Dawn Redwood.

Highlights will include the Arboretum, Handkerchief trees and the delightful fragrance of the Katsura trees.

You'll see many of our Champion Trees and learn about the influence that the Messel family had on the gardens, whilst having the opportunity to ask our experts your questions.

Please check in at Visitor Reception on arrival. The tour will start outside at the Hub.

Please wear suitable footwear as the tour may leave the paths. The tour takes place outdoors so please wear appropriate clothing for a 90-minute walk. This tour goes up and down steps and slopes.

Dogs are not permitted, apart from assistance dogs.

7,000 Stranded Passengers. One Small Town. A Remarkable True Story.

Featuring live music and a dynamic ensemble, This Is My Theatre’s adaptation invites audiences to experience one of literature’s best-loved stories like never before - glamorous, grandiose and undeniably… great.

The event, held on the Main Lawn, around 10 minutes' walk from the entrance to Nymans, has level access.

This is an outdoor event so please dress for the weather. Seating isn't provided, so you may wish to bring camping chairs, blankets or cushions.

Brush up your circus skills with instructors from Circus Allstars who'll give guidance and demonstrate circus skills.

Booking not needed. This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.
Thursdays from 23 July to 27 August and Tuesdays 4, 18 and 25 August 2026, 11am to 3pm

Join instructors from Circus Allstars in this fun, drop-in workshop. Safe and fun instruction in skills such as hula-hoop, juggling, spinning plate, balancing feather, poi, gymnastic-ribbon, devil stick, diabolo, pedal-go and stilts. Alongside expert demonstrations to show you how it’s done! No need to book ahead, just drop in on the day. Maximum workshop size - 35.

Summer of Play Hub in Combers Field has level access and is approx. 10 mins walk from the entrance. Grab a map at the entrance to find your way and see where all the facilities are. The nearest toilets from the Play Hub are at the Riding House cafe approx. 5 mins walk.

Children must be accompanied by an adult spectator.

The workshops are outside in a field but undercover. Please dress for the weather and don't forget sun cream and a hat.

Join Haywards Heath Town Council for a fantastic Football Fun Day on Friday 24th July, from 12.30pm to 5.00pm, at Hanbury Stadium, Allen Road, Haywards Heath. Raising money for the Mayor's Charity of the Year, Kangaroos, the event promises a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family. Enjoy a 5-a-side football tournament, children's activities, five giant inflatables (unlimited access for £10), giant garden games, a raffle, tombola, live music and entertainment from Giggle Beats, plus a BBQ from the Rapid Relief Team and refreshments from Simmos Café. Entry is free, so come along and support a fantastic local cause.

Grove Garden Summer Party is on the 25th July. Live Entertainment, Afternoon Tea, Sandwiches, Cakes, Pimms, free entry, come along and have some fun and support your local Community Garden.
