Haywards Heath Town Council Sets 2026–27 Precept to Support Local Services and Community Wellbeing

Haywards Heath Town Council has set its budget for 2026–27, putting community priorities at the heart of its plans for the year ahead. The Council’s total expenditure is expected to be £1,008,000, an increase of £85,656 on last year. To fund this, the annual contribution for an average Band D household will be £79.12, which works out at just £1.52 per week- an increase of 12p a week.

Business Boosts with the Town Council: Free Promotion for Local Businesses in 2026

Haywards Heath Town Council is proud to launch Business Boosts, a new initiative designed to celebrate and promote the town’s vibrant local business community.
As part of the programme, a different local business will be featured on their social media every Thursday throughout 2026, giving businesses a free opportunity to showcase what they do and connect with residents across the town.
