Mayor Welcomes Friends from Traunstein to Haywards Heath
The Mayor of Haywards Heath welcomed 10 members of the Freundschaftsclub from Traunstein to the Town Hall on Friday 18 September, as part of a special visit organised through the Haywards Heath Twinning Association.
The group of friends from Haywards Heath’s twin town were visiting the town from 17 to 21 September, enjoying the opportunity to reconnect with local friends and experience more of Haywards Heath and the surrounding area.
Cllr Duncan Pascoe, Mayor of Haywards Heath, hosted a special coffee and cake reception at the Town Hall, providing a relaxed opportunity to meet the visitors, hear about their experiences and celebrate the friendship between the two communities.
The visit is part of the long-standing relationship between Haywards Heath and Traunstein, with the twinning association helping to build connections between residents and communities in the two towns.
The Mayor was delighted to welcome the group to Haywards Heath and to play a part in continuing the friendship and cultural exchange between the two communities.
