Safe:Space Sussex
Haywards Heath Town Hall is a registered location as part of the Sussex Safe Space scheme. Everyone is welcome at the Town Hall, and we can provide a safe and supportive place for anyone who feels unsafe, threatened or at risk of harm while out in public.
If you need somewhere safe to go, you can come into the Town Hall to seek help, make a phone call or simply take some time in a quiet environment until you feel comfortable continuing with your day.

Access to drinking water
Use of a telephone
A private or quiet area
Wheelchair-accessible facilities
First aid trained staff

Haywards Heath Baby Bank Donation Drop-off
Haywards Heath Town Hall is a donation point for the local Baby Bank. We can accept donations of items including clothing (from birth to 9 years), prams, cots, bedding, highchairs and stair gates. Please ensure that all second-hand items are in as-new condition.

The Haywards Heath Baby Bank is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am–12 noon. No referral is needed to access the Baby Bank.

Life Certificate Signing
If you need to provide proof of life, for example to claim or continue receiving a pension, our Town Clerk can stamp and sign your Life Certificate.
Please visit the Town Hall reception and bring your certificate and appropriate identification with you.
