Mayor Attended Ashenground Community Centre Open Day

On Sunday 19th July 2026, the Mayor of Haywards Heath attended the Ashenground Community Centre Open Day, joining local residents for an afternoon of fun, activities and community spirit.
The free event offered something for everyone to enjoy, with a wide variety of activities and entertainment taking place throughout the afternoon. Visitors could enjoy rides on the miniature railway, explore a selection of vehicles, take part in games and crafts, and try their hand at table tennis.
There was also live entertainment from a choir, alongside refreshments and a raffle and tombola, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to relax, have fun and connect with others in the local community.
Cllr Duncan Pascoe, the Mayor of Haywards Heath, was delighted to attend the event and meet residents, volunteers and organisers. He praised the open day for bringing people together and showcasing the welcoming community spirit at Ashenground Community Centre.
The Mayor thanked everyone involved in organising the event and all the volunteers who helped make the afternoon such a success, creating an enjoyable opportunity for the local community to come together.
