Mayor and Deputy Mayor Speak at Grove Garden Summer Party

On Saturday 25th July, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Haywards Heath attended the Garden Party at Grove Garden, joining local residents for a wonderful afternoon of community and celebration.

The Deputy Mayor of Haywards Heath, Cllr Abdul Bashar, officially opened the event with a welcome speech, thanking the organisers for bringing the community together and introduced the first musical act, setting the tone for what proved to be a fantastic afternoon.
The free event welcomed local residents to enjoy an afternoon of live music, afternoon tea, plants, a tombola and a creative hat competition. The afternoon proved to be a huge success, with every table filled and attendees enjoying the entertainment from all around the garden.
Later in the afternoon, Cllr Duncan Pascoe, Town Mayor of Haywards Heath, also gave a speech to thank everyone involved in making the event such a memorable occasion. As part of the celebrations, all sponsors of the event were presented with a special Thank You certificate in recognition of their generous support and contribution.
The Mayor and Deputy Mayor thanked the organisers, performers, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who attended for helping to create such a fantastic afternoon. The Garden Party was a wonderful example of the community coming together to enjoy a summer celebration while supporting and celebrating the work of Grove Garden.
