Deputy Mayor Attends Choir&Ko Concert in Aid of Sussex Cancer Fund
The Deputy Mayor of Haywards Heath attended a special fundraising concert by Choir&Ko at the Chapel of Saint Saviour, Ardingly College, on Saturday 17 October, raising funds for the Sussex Cancer Fund.
Choir&Ko brought energy, personality and plenty of fun to the evening, performing a lively programme of familiar songs spanning pop, musical theatre, country favourites and classic hits. The audience enjoyed music made famous by artists including Adele, Michael Jackson, Coldplay, Blondie, Olly Murs, Bob Marley, James Bay and The Four Seasons.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of the chapel, the concert offered an entertaining evening for music lovers of all ages, bringing people together through a shared love of music while supporting a worthwhile cause.
The Sussex Cancer Fund supports improvements in cancer care across Sussex, helping to enhance treatment and the experience of patients in the region. Fundraising events such as this help contribute towards the charity’s important work.
Cllr Abdul Bashar, the Deputy Mayor, was pleased to attend and support the event, celebrating the contribution of live music to the local community and the generosity of those who came together to raise funds for Sussex Cancer Fund.
