Families and friends, stallholders, entertainers and the new Mayor of Haywards Heath sprung into the summer season at this year's event. Beginning in 2000, the Spring Festival evolved into its current format from the town's Tulip Festival. The event ran in 2023 for the first time as ‘Spring into Summer’.

Located on Muster Green, attendees were able to enjoy a variety of activities including fairground rides, crazy golf, balloon modelling and circus skills. Crowds gathered around the dance arena for performances by the Gielgud Academy, Baby Ballet and Alegria Spanish Dance. For the last act of the day, children sat eagerly around the stage for the well-loved Marco the Magician.

A wide range of stalls were set up, from businesses such as the Haywards Heath Arts Festival and Rotary, baked goods from Shadow Cakes, and animal charities such as Cats Protection and Kitty for Needy Critters.

Haywards Heath Town Mayor, Cllr Duncan Pascoe, opened the event and enjoyed his time chatting to residents and stallholders alongside his Deputy, Cllr Abdul Bashar.

The Town Council wishes to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who attended or supported the event.
Spring into Summer will return in 2026!
