THANK YOU FOR JOINING US
CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL
Saturday 22nd November 2025
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday 22nd November to celebrate the start of the festive season with the annual Christmas Festival and Light Switch On.
Visitors enjoyed a festive Christmas Market spread across various Town Centre locations, with a wide selection of seasonal stalls, delicious food, and delightful gifts. Throughout the afternoon, there was entertainment and activities for all ages.
We value your feedback and would love to hear your thoughts. Please take a moment to complete our short survey.
CHRISTMAS WINDOW TRAIL
The Christmas Window Trail offers the perfect way to explore the town centre. Running between the three Christmas Festival venues (Centenary Hall, United Reformed Church and Haywards Heath Baptist Church), the trail invites participants to spot the hidden gifts displayed in local shop windows and record where each one is found on a paper trail sheet.
The trail is open until Christmas Day - download your Trail sheet below, and return your completed sheet to the Town Hall to claim your festive prize!
BEST DRESSED WINDOW COMPETITION
Festive cheer will be spread throughout the town centre with the return of its much-loved Best Dressed Window Competition — and we need you to help choose the winners!
Local businesses are invited to transform their windows with creative Christmas displays. Last year saw more than 2,000 public votes, and this year promises to be even bigger and brighter.
The competition opens Friday 21st November at 8am and runs for two weeks, closing at 5pm on Friday 5th December.
During this period, members of the public can vote for their favourite window in both the retail and non-retail categories. Voting will be available online and over the phone, making it easy for everyone to have their say.
Look out for the QR code displayed in each participating window. Simply scan it to cast your vote!
Prizes are generously sponsored by Mid Sussex District Council. Winners in each category will receive an engraved plaque, and runners-up will be awarded a framed certificate—perfect for displaying proudly in their decorated windows.
The results will be announced on Monday 7th December, with the Town Mayor presenting the winning plaques shortly afterwards.
