The shop was formally opened by the Town Mayor of Haywards Heath, Cllr Duncan Pascoe, who welcomed Raystede to the town with a short speech celebrating the importance of community support and local charities. The Mayor then helped mark the occasion by cutting the ribbon - and the cake, much to the delight of everyone gathered.

Also in attendance was Stephanie Smith, Raystede’s CEO, alongside local business owners, members of the local media, Raystede’s Vice-President and Trustees, loyal shop customers and donors, and many of Raystede’s dedicated staff and volunteers. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring together supporters old and new to celebrate this exciting addition to the high street.

The new shop offers a wide range of great-value items, including clothes and accessories, homeware, toys, books, bric-a-brac and much more. Shoppers will also be pleased to know that the store is dog-friendly, so four-legged friends are very welcome too.

All proceeds from the shop go towards helping Raystede continue its vital work caring for animals in need. The shop team would be delighted to receive donations of good-quality items, which can be sold to raise much-needed funds to support the charity’s animals.

Whether you’re looking for a bargain, dropping off a donation, or simply popping in to say hello, the Raystede Haywards Heath Charity Shop looks forward to welcoming you.
