This special evening event, hosted in collaboration with local business Brydee Whyte, offered a first look at the stunning work on display before the exhibition opens to the public. It was also a moment to reflect on the growing impact of the Haywards Heath Arts Festival, now proudly in its fourth year.

Among the invited guests were Town Mayor, Cllr Duncan Pascoe, and his Deputy, Cllr Abdul Bashar. The Mayor spoke about the importance of the arts in shaping vibrant, connected communities - and the particular pride Haywards Heath takes in championing local talent.

The Mayor also offered heartfelt thanks to the HHAF Committee, the many supporters and volunteers behind the scenes, and to Brydee Whyte for their innovative and generous use of space - a perfect setting to showcase the region’s artistic flair.

Guests were encouraged to pick up a festival brochure and take part in other exciting events taking place throughout the week as part of HHAF 2025. With more artists, venues, and attendees joining each year, the festival continues to grow as a much-loved cultural highlight in the town’s calendar.

The evening concluded with conversations flowing, connections forming, and a shared appreciation for the role the arts play in enriching our lives - a perfect start to what promises to be an inspiring festival week.
