There was plenty of excitement in the air on Saturday 5th July as friends, family, and local supporters gathered in Horsted Keynes for a very special occasion - the official opening of Giggleton Role Play Centre!
The highlight of the morning was the ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by the Haywards Heath Town Mayor, Cllr Duncan Pascoe, who kindly joined the business owners to declare Giggleton officially open. With scissors in hand and a warm smile, the Mayor snipped the ribbon stretched across the doors to cheers and applause from proud families and curious little ones. It was a truly heartwarming moment and a perfect start to Giggleton’s journey.

Designed for children aged 0–7, Giggleton offers a magical world of make-believe across seven beautifully crafted role play settings, including:
A cosy cottage
A bustling hair salon
A hands-on farm
A caring hospital
A busy construction zone
A peaceful library
And a watchful police station
Each area invites children to explore, imagine, and immerse themselves in real-world scenarios, encouraging creativity, social interaction, and early learning through play.
In addition to the main play zones, Giggleton proudly offers a dedicated baby area for non-walkers, ensuring even the tiniest visitors have a safe and engaging space of their own. They also hold weekly SEN sessions, specially tailored for children with additional needs up to the age of 13 - providing a calmer, more supportive environment to enjoy all the fun. Parents and carers are equally delighted for the onsite café, serving a range of hot and cold food, drinks, and treats for all ages.
This pre-opening event gave a sneak peek before Giggleton opens its doors to the public today, on Monday 7th July. It was joyous to watch little imaginations take flight!
