Deputy Mayor Attends Mid Sussex Dementia Forum Meeting

On Monday 27th April, Cllr Abdul Bashar, the Deputy Mayor of Haywards Heath attended the Mid Sussex Dementia Forum meeting, hosted by the Alzheimer’s Society.
The forum, held in the afternoon, brought together local organisations, professionals, and community representatives to share updates and discuss ongoing work to support those affected by dementia across the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Mayor spoke about his time in office, reflecting on his experiences within the community and the importance of supporting initiatives that promote awareness, inclusion, and care for residents living with dementia.
The Deputy Mayor thanked the Alzheimer’s Society for organising the event and for their continued dedication to supporting individuals and families affected by dementia.
