On Sunday 13th July, the stage was set at The Hawth Theatre in Crawley as students from Ariel Drama Academies took to the spotlight for their Annual Showcase.

The auditorium buzzed with excitement as families, friends, and supporters filled the seats to watch young performers shine. For many of the students, this event is the highlight of their year: a chance to perform in a professional theatre, demonstrate their hard work, and experience the thrill of the stage. From acting to singing to dance, each performance reflected months of learning, creativity, and collaboration.

But behind the bright lights and standing ovations lies something even more important. Ariel's training gives students more than stage skills: it builds confidence, communication, and co-ordination. The showcase is the culmination of these achievements, and it was a joy for parents and carers to see their children blossom.

The Deputy Mayor of Haywards Heath, Cllr Abdul Bashar, attended the showcase as a special guest, who applauded the students' talent and praised the academy's commitment to empowering young people through the arts. His presence helped make the night even more special for the students, staff, and families.
