Deputy Mayor Attends Ariel Drama Academies Showcase

On Sunday 12th July 2026, the Deputy Mayor of Haywards Heath attended the Ariel Drama Academies Brighton & Haywards Heath Showcase at The Hawth in Crawley, celebrating the achievements of talented young performers from across the local area.
The annual showcase highlighted the dedication, creativity and hard work of the academy's students, who took to the stage to demonstrate the skills they have developed through their training in drama and the performing arts. Family, friends and supporters gathered to enjoy an evening of entertainment that reflected the vibrant creative spirit of the academy and its young performers.
Cllr Abdul Bashar, the Deputy Mayor of Haywards Heath, was delighted to attend the showcase and praised the confidence, enthusiasm and talent displayed by the students throughout the evening. He recognised the important role that organisations such as Ariel Drama Academies play in nurturing creativity, building confidence and providing young people with opportunities to express themselves through the performing arts.
The event was a fitting celebration of the students' achievements and the dedication of the teachers, staff and families who support them. The Deputy Mayor thanked everyone involved in organising the showcase and congratulated all of the performers on delivering an inspiring evening of entertainment.
