Deputy Mayor Attends Mid Sussex Malayali Association Sports Day

On Sunday 28th June, the Deputy Mayor of Haywards Heath, Cllr Abdul Bashar, was delighted to attend the Mid Sussex Malayali Association's Sports Day, organised by the Kerala Community Group.
The event brought together families and members of the local community for a day of friendly competition, teamwork and celebration. Participants of all ages took part in a variety of sporting activities, creating a vibrant atmosphere and showcasing the strong community spirit that the association fosters.
During the event, Cllr Abdul Bashar delivered a speech, recognising the important role that community organisations such as the Mid Sussex Malayali Association play in bringing people together, promoting inclusion and encouraging healthy, active lifestyles.
The Deputy Mayor also had the pleasure of presenting medals to the day's winners, congratulating them on their achievements and celebrating the enthusiasm and sportsmanship shown by everyone who took part.
