Growing Together: Haywards Heath Launches 2026 Best Kept Garden Competition

Following another successful year, the Town Council and the Haywards Heath IN BLOOM Committee are pleased to launch the 2026 Best Kept Garden Competition, inviting the whole community to take part.
This year’s competition features four categories:
• Front garden / balcony
• Communal garden
• Business frontage
• Allotment
Whether it’s a vibrant display at your doorstep, a shared green haven, a flourishing vegetable plot, or a business proud of its floral appeal, the competition welcomes entries from all corners of the community. Participants can also nominate a neighbour or local business whose garden they admire.

Community Governance Review for Haywards Heath
Mid Sussex District Council is currently undertaking a Community Governance Review for Haywards Heath Town Council, which could potentially have an effect on the administrative boundaries of the neighbouring Parish Councils including Ansty and Staplefield as well as those of the Town of Haywards Heath.
