To mark 35 years since the construction of the Town Hall, Haywards Heath Town Council hosted a special Open Day on Saturday 9th August, welcoming members of the community into the heart of local governance.

On Friday 15th August 2025, Haywards Heath Town Council held a solemn commemoration at the Muster Green War Memorial to mark the 80th anniversary of VJ Day - Victory over Japan Day - which signifies the end of the Second World War.

We are exploring the creation of an official Monopoly: Haywards Heath edition! And are keen to hear whether this is something you would would enjoy. Featuring local landmarks and familiar favourites, it could be a unique way to celebrate our community. ONE casual vacancy exists in the Office of Councillor for Haywards Heath Town Council – Haywards Heath North West Ward.
By-elections to fill the vacancies will be held if, within 14 days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays) TEN electors of the electoral area give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Proper Officer. Please follow the below link for further information.

Town Day is back this year on Saturday, September 13, and it’s set to be the biggest celebration yet! Join us at Victoria Park from 12 noon to 9pm for a full day of family fun, live entertainment, and community spirit, all hosted by Haywards Heath Town Council.
