After sixteen years of dedicated service, it is with heavy hearts that we must say goodbye to Steve Trice, our Town Clerk. His deep knowledge, tireless work behind the scenes, and genuine care for Haywards Heath has made a lasting difference, and he will be greatly missed by colleagues, councillors, and residents alike. We thank him greatly for all he has done, and wish him all the best for the next chapter.

Following a highly successful launch in 2025, the Youth Entrepreneurs Academy Haywards Heath (YEAHH) is set to return in 2026, offering young people an exciting opportunity to develop real-world business skills and entrepreneurial confidence.

Haywards Heath Town Council is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Community Awards, an annual celebration recognising the unsung heroes who work tirelessly to improve life in Haywards Heath.

Haywards Heath Town Council is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Best Dressed Window Competition, celebrating the festive creativity of local businesses and the enthusiastic support of the public through thousands of votes.

Despite the weather, Haywards Heath shone brighter than ever on Saturday 22nd November as the town came together for a hugely successful Christmas Festival and Light Switch-On. The event drew bustling crowds throughout the day, filling all venues with festive cheer, family fun, and a strong sense of community spirit.

It was a joy to see so many of you attend and enjoy the festivities! Your support and community spirit made the event truly magical.
