Haywards Heath Community Warden
You may have seen him already, but the Town Council is delighted to announce that a Community Warden, Mr Damon Cooper, has been deployed to the Town Center and surrounds. This forms part of a partnership initiative, jointly funded by Haywards Heath Town Council, Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner, the Southern Cooperative and Sussex Police, as a one-year pilot.
The Community Warden's main responsibilities will be to support the Town Council by being the eyes, ears and point of contact representing the Town Council for the public, businesses and other organisations on community safety, criminal and anti-social behaviour matters.

Haywards Heath Neigbourhood Plan
Mid Sussex District Council has received the Independent Examiner's Report on the Haywards Heath Neighbourhood Plan. The report concludes that, subject to modifications, the Plan should proceed to Referendum. The Examiner's report is available to view, please click here for the examiners report.
