Highways Operative £16,500 per annum (37hrs per week) - 18 month Fixed Term Contract with a view to an extension in April 2017
A Highways Operatives is required to undertake grounds maintenance and preliminary highways works on behalf of the company, which is owned by Haywards Heath Town Council, in the Town and the Parishes of Lindfield, Lindfield Rural and Ardingly. Works will include clearing of vegetation, weed spraying, street nameplate maintenance, cleaning of road signs, and roundabout maintenance. The post also entails the maintenance of grass verges, response to snow and use of machinery. Gardening/horticultural experience is desirable but not essential. Please note that full highways related work training will be provided.
