Huge turnout for Hayward Heath's 'Royal Procession' & Coronation Big Lunch

The Town Hall and South Road were awash with royal fans as the community turned out in force for the Haywards Heath Town Council ‘Royal Procession’ Coronation Celebrations and The Coronation Big Lunch.
Residents, community groups and organisations all dressed to impress on the day as the Mayor led the ‘Royal Procession’ from the Town Hall in Boltro Road to Victoria park for the start of the Coronation Celebrations in Haywards Heath.
Town Mayor, Howard Mundin, comments;
“This was a marvellous moment for our community in Haywards Heath. It was truly heart-warming to see so many families, community groups and organisations coming together and taking part in our Royal Procession Coronation Celebrations and Coronation Big Lunch. I would like to thank each and every one of you for showing your true community spirit and marking this historic event with fun and pride.
It was amazing to see young and old out celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III, playing their part in this historical moment, and such fun to see the display of red, white and blue royal regalia marching from the Town Hall. Thank you to CLS Behring for their kind sponsorship of our Coronation Events and for joining in with our celebrations and thank you also to all our amazing performers at the Coronation Celebrations. I was so proud to be part of these special community celebrations in Haywards Heath for the Royal Coronation.”
The Royal Procession included local dignitaries, More Radio’s new mascot, Bruce’s Doggy Day Care, the Royal British Legion, 172 Squadron Air Cadets, Bolnore Scouts, Scouts from the 5th St Pauls Group, Girl Guiding Sussex Central, Lindfield Bonfire Society, the Dolphin Gymnasts, Alegria Spanish Dance, Renshinkan Karate Do England and staff and councillors from Haywards Heath Town Council.
Helen Watts, Head of Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance, CSL Behring UK and Ireland, who attended the event added:
