Town Council Staff raise £170 for the Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity during bake sale

The staff of Haywards Heath Town Council got into the festive spirit by donning their Christmas Jumpers and baking up a storm to raise funds for the Mayor's charity, the Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity.

The homemade cakes, mince pies and a helping of festive mulled wine added to the spirit on the day and they were also helped by two young volunteers, being the children of one of the staff!

The Dame Vera Lynn Children's charity provides vital services and support to young children and their families suffering from the Cerebral Palsy and other motor learning impairments and the Town Council staff were delighted to have this opportunity to support them over the festive season.
