Muster Green packed with visitors as Spring Festival returns!

Published: 05 April 2022

Muster Green was a happy and bustling place last Sunday as hoards of families and friends flocked to the Haywards Heath Town Council Spring Festival.

Town Mayor, Howard Mundin, was delighted to see so many visitors to the festival and had a very busy day enjoying the festivities and chatting with residents, community groups and charities.

Visitors were treated to brilliant performances by Ariel Drama Academy, Alegria Spanish Dancers. Buddy Blue was very popular with visitors loving having pictures taken with him, including local MP, Mims Davies, and Town Councillors! Children were able to practice their football and rugby skills thanks to Haywards Heath Town Football Club and Haywards Heath Rugby Football Club and the ever popular Poi Passion were super busy teaching children fun circus skills.

The feedback from residents has been extremely positive with Caroline Wellen commenting on Facebook “It was such a brilliant day!! Thank you so much for organising it 😃 I love all the fantastic events our town puts on!”

Town Mayor, Howard Mundin, comments:

What a marvellous Spring Festival we had this year, the sun came out and so did the community! My thanks to the staff at Haywards Heath Town Council for their hard work in putting on this event for the town and to all the community groups, entertainers and sports clubs that contributed to the success of the afternoon. A big thank you to Flint and Co for sponsoring the Spring Festival 2022.”
