Edinburgh Fringe Award Winning act to perform at Haywards Heath Mayor’s Charity Evening

Published: 06 April 2022

The unique music theatre act Bowjangles will perform at the Mayor’s Charity event to help him raise funds towards a therapy garden for stroke survivors.

Previous winners of the “Spirit of the Fringe” Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Bowjangles have been together for 12 years, touring the world, appearing on TV and wowing audiences at festivals, events and weddings!

Town Mayor, Cllr Howard Mundin commented:

“Forget everything you know about a string quartet, Bowjangles bring a unique mix of music, comedy and theatre to our fundraiser and I am delighted they will be performing at my charity fundraiser at the Bluebell Vineyard on 12th May.

Guests can expect an interesting and enlightening tour of the vineyard and wine-making process and a gastronomic tasting of Sussex cheese and wine, followed by Mediterranean food and fabulous entertainment, all in the beautiful setting of the Bluebell Vineyard Estate.

Please join me at this marvellous charity evening promoting local produce, buy a ticket and help raise funds for this very worthwhile charity.”

Tickets are £40, with all proceeds going towards the creation of a therapy garden for stroke survivors at the Princess Royal Hospital to enhance the treatment they receive from the brilliant Sussex Rehabilitation Centre at the hospital.  Tickets are available from maria.horne@haywardsheath.gov.uk or please call 01444 455694.
