We are delighted that our grounds management services will now be delivered with the use of an electric vehicle, reducing our carbon emissions and helping to improve the air quality in our town. This is another step in the right direction for our Environment policy.”

Cllr Jim Knight, who proposed the idea at a meeting of the Environment Working group, adds:

I am delighted that the Town Council will look after our grounds with the new electric vehicle. These vehicles do not emit any exhaust gases thereby reducing local air pollution and making our services greener cleaner and kinder to the environment.”
