Fantastic Community turnout to share their love for our parks at the launch of the KeepItBinIt Campaign

Cllr Sandy Ellis was delighted with the brilliant community response to the launch of #KeepItBinIT campaign for Haywards Heath at the Love Parks Litter Pick last Saturday.

Cllr Ellis says:

“It was wonderful to see so many of our community coming out to join in the Litter Pick and show why they love our parks. Our Town Mayor, regular Litter Heroes, Town Councillors and myself joined forces with our amazing residents, scouts, community groups and Mid Sussex Police to make a difference to Victoria Park.

The rain failed to dampen our spirits as we had so much fun sharing our reasons for loving our parks and green spaces and the #KeepItBinIt campaign gives you no excuse to drop your litter, encouraging you to wait until you have a safe place to dispose of it to protect our wildlife and environment. Thank you so much to our awesome community who took time out to appreciate that our parks and green spaces in our town are not just for our enjoyment but are home to many of our plants, wildlife and precious trees. Please remember to #KeepItBinIt” and protect our environment.
