HAYWARDS HEATH TOWN COUNCIL PRESS RELEASE: 8 September 2020

Haywards Heath Mayor gives praise to volunteers who helped the Town through lockdown

Haywards Heath Town Mayor, Councillor Alastair McPherson gives a personal message of thanks to the volunteers who gave their time and effort to help the community of Haywards Heath and surrounding villages through lockdown.

As Haywards Heath Covid-19 Mutual Aid winds down and hands its referees back to local charities, Alastair issues the following statement to volunteers in our Town.

Regular requests for assistance have now been referred to local charities including AGE UK West Sussex and new referrals should be directed to Good Neighbourhood CARE, a valuable community charity in Haywards Heath. For those kind people still wishing to help their community, Good Neighbourhood CARE will be delighted to hear from you. Please visit their website at www.careinhaywardsheath.co.uk or call them on 01444 455955.
