Mayor's Blog

 Welcome to the Mayor's Blog

On Monday, 11 May, I had the huge honour of being re-elected as Town Mayor for the second year. To be Mayor of my hometown and the town I love is very special for me. I would like to thank my fellow Councillors for their support and can promise them and the people of Haywards Heath that I will do everything I can to represent them and the town to the best of my ability.

I will also be working to help raise funds in these difficult times for my mayoral charities - the local and wonderful Time4Children charity and Grove Garden, a local outdoor space for the community.

I would like to use my blog to highlight local issues and causes dear to my heart and which are beneficial to the community and I would like to start with my 'Shop Local Haywards Heath' campaign where I encourage you all to make use of the wonderful array of shops and businesses that we are fortunate to have in and around our Town.
